This hip movie is rated "X" but is hardly a PG movie. A goofy and fun swinging 60's time is had by all in this classic produced in 1969. A rather wealthy couple or having a hard time dealing the unexpectedly having a child. The father who is also a judge played by George E. Carey is frustrated with how cold his wife played by Ann Bellamy, has become and starts to get the seven year itch. He truly loves his wife and does his best to make her happy but his heart is feeling the pain of her hard personality.
Enter "Candy" played by Patricia Wymer. Candy is hired by the couple to watch the baby while they go out for a not so exciting evening of bridge with friends. While this is going on, a biker gang is involved in a brutal crime. A woman is dragged into the woods and murded. The case is to come before the judge. However, he gets distracted by Candy and is tempted by her stunning beauty devil may care personality. He enters into a love affair with Candy.
To clear the bikers names in the crime. A female member of the gang spy's in the judge and his family to get dirt that can be used to blackmail him into not throwing the book at them. The biker gets more than she bargained for! She follows the judges daughter out and bout and discoverers first hand that she is involved in a lesbian affair that she has hidden from her family. The the biker follows the judge out to a beach where he meets Candy for an afternoon of passion. Pictures are taken and mailed to the judges office and to his home. The outcome is a surprise that the biker gang did not expect. In the end, the Judge and his wife rediscover each other on a personnel level and the Judge keeps his job.
The "X" rating is laughable. Some people in Hollywood must have really wanted to bury this delightful dud. The violence is softer then fights on cartoons and the sex is fitting more of a daytime soap opera (minus the nudity). Movie is fun and the story is one people who grooved thru the 60's and 70's can enjoy.
